This event is part of the company’s ongoing effort to train its leaders and improve the operational efficiency of the entire business through innovation and excellence, demonstrating its commitment to this transformation process.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from the CEO, followed by an update on the BEST program. Throughout the week, participants were immersed in intensive workshops.

Business Excellence Senior Manager Rolando Vargas commented, “The meeting allowed us to share and reflect on the progress made by the different terminals in the program. In addition, we learned about the 6S Methodology for optimizing efficiency and safety in operations.”

The head of Operational Excellence at SVTI, Claudio Azócar, said, “This training, hosted by SVTI, focused on developing new skills based on the 6S methodology. It is very important for our employees to broaden their capabilities through these types of events, because with them we can move towards a more sustainable business and promote more efficient services. The meeting was attended by employees of Florida International Terminal (FIT), Terminal Marítima Mazatlán (TMAZ), Sociedad Portuaria Caldera (SPC), Terminal Portuario Guayaquil (TPG), Iquique Terminal Internacional (ITI), Antofagasta Terminal Internacional (ATI), San Antonio Terminal Internacional (STI), San Vicente Terminal Internacional (SVTI) and SAAM Logistics.
