The 15th version of the traditional SAAM Terminals Cup concluded with passion, camaraderie and a lot of soccer. The Puertos del Norte male and female teams were crowned champions for the second straight year, reflecting the positive alliance between Antofagasta Terminal Internacional and Iquique Terminal Internacional.

Twenty-four teams gave their all in 48 entertaining matches spread over four days at Club Palestino.

“This tournament is a tradition that we treasure: it is a space for gathering and an important pillar of our company, because it reinforces our port identity and our ability to work together, beyond our daily functions,” noted SAAM Terminals’ SVP Commercial & Business Development, Rodrigo Galleguillos.

A total of 366 goals were made, with Francesca Acuña of Puertos del Norte and David Pérez of Maersk named the high scorers of the competition, with 17 and 21 goals, respectively.

In the men’s category, second and third place went to San Vicente Terminal Internacional and SAAM, and in the women’s category to San Vicente Terminal Internacional and San Antonio Terminal Internacional.
