SAAM Terminals announced its membership in Global Compact Chile’s North Council, a group of companies, local organizations and universities seeking to bolster efforts toward achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals promoted in the UN 2030 Agenda.

Today Hapag-Lloyd successfully completed the acquisition of 100% of SM SAAM’s terminal and related logistics services business, which is based on an agreement announced in October 2022.

This new piece of equipment is part of the investment plan being implemented at the terminal and positions it at the forefront of ports in Chile and Latin American.
The Concessionaire acquired a second mobile crane, which will be added to port operations in the coming months.
