Florida International Terminal (FIT), one of SAAM Terminals port terminal, has successfully renewed its lease agreement at Port Everglades for another 10 years, after authorization by the Broward Country Commissioners and the local Port Authority.

Florida International Terminal (FIT) participated in the ribbon cutting of the three new Super Post-Panamax cranes that will serve the Port of Everglades’ four terminals.

The shipping company CMA CGM has selected Florida International Terminal (FIT) in Port Everglades as the only U.S. port of call for its new CEIBA Express service. The weekly service will directly connect this country to Latin America and allow for the transfer of agricultural products and general cargo.

In a few weeks the terminal will be added to the FLX service operated by the magenta shipping line.
