Sociedad Portuaria de Caldera (SPC) began its SPC Impulsa training program for entrepreneurs in Caldera, Esparza and Puntarenas. Its main objective is to promote entrepreneurship in the Costa Rican port area and support small entrepreneurs in the development stages of their projects.

SPC Impulsa’s commitment is to promote the development of 40 promising local active projects. The program provides 11 weeks of training, workshops and expert support to help these entrepreneurs take their small businesses to the next level.

In addition to offering new tools and knowledge, the program receives collaboration from MEIC, which guides entrepreneurs through the process of formalizing their business to access SME benefits.
